Using AI without losing our own story

For me, AI is a tool for creating and developing music. What I value is being able to put my own feelings, ideas and knowledge into the process. I use it to explore possibilities, experiment with text and languages, and develop an idea further.

That does not mean I let a system decide everything. The starting point remains what I want to create and tell. The idea for “Ik Kan Het Niet Betalen”, for example, simply came to me spontaneously. Tools then helped me explore the form and create both a Dutch and an English experience around the same core idea.

We also try to use as much of our own material as possible, or material for which we have permission or usage rights. We do not want to grow by copying others, but by continuing to build our own story.

How we handle languages

Five languages are maintained as dedicated site versions: Dutch, English, German, French and Spanish. Visitors who prefer another world language can use an option clearly marked as automatic translation. This lets us reach more people without pretending that every language has been translated by hand.
